Inspection of aggregate mechanism specified

The inspection of aggregate is divided into type inspection and delivery inspection in the production process. Type inspection shall be carried out item by item according to all quality requirements of coarse and fine aggregate. It includes: fineness modulus, particle size distribution, stone powder content, mud content and clay block content, harmful substance content, needle and flake particle content, firmness, crushing index, apparent density, etc. the test of alkali aggregate reaction shall be carried out as required. Type inspection shall be carried out in case of any of the following conditions:
(1) before the new production and processing system is put into operation;
(2) when the material source or production process changes;
(3) in normal production, it should be carried out once a quarter, but the stone powder content, fineness modulus, super diameter and inferior diameter content, mud content and mud lump content should be tested once a shift;
(4) when required by the competent quality supervision organization.
The factory inspection shall be carried out according to the engineering requirements. Generally, the inspection of particle gradation, fineness modulus, apparent density, stone powder content (including methylene blue test), mud content, clay block content, mica content, needle and sheet content shall be carried out.
The new standard also requires the coarse aggregate to be tested by medium diameter sieve. Due to the stacking, reclaiming and transportation, a certain grade of aggregate may be separated, resulting in the phenomenon of smaller or larger particle size, resulting in uneven particle size distribution and affecting the quality of concrete. In order to effectively monitor and control the separation of each particle size, it is stipulated that the medium diameter sieves of D150, D80, D40 and D20 with the medium diameter of 115mm, 60mm, 30mm and 10mm of each particle size are used for inspection. The screen allowance should be in the range of 40% - 70%. If it is beyond the range, it is necessary to find out the causes and take anti separation measures, and timely adjust the concrete mix proportion parameters if necessary.
